Curriculum Statement

At Keen Kidz our Curriculum is inclusive to all children and families and promotes the child’s independence, curiosity, language and social skills.

This is done by following the child’s lead and interests and building on a n emergent curriculum that is developed in partnership with the child, parents and all professionals that support all children at Keen Kidz.

Breakfast Club

Early drop-off from 8am, with a healthy breakfast provided before children are safely walked to school by our caring staff.

Montessori / ECCE

Children learn through exploring the Montessori Materials in tandem with a multitude of open-ended play and educational experiences.

Afterschool

Fun, homework help, and activities for Junior Infants to 6th Class, offering a safe, friendly place to unwind after the school day.

We’re located in the secure Ballygunner GAA complex, offering morning sessional care during term time.

Our child's montessori experience at Keen Kidz has been fantastic - thanks to the caring and supportive staff, and the creative activities they get to enjoy and play. My two girls attend Keen Kidz Afterschool and absolutely love it! They get picked up at the school gate and walked to Keen Kidz's door. Here they do their homework, eat, and play with their friends. Lots of thought is put into activities by the caring staff like arts & crafts, quizzes, oral language games and outdoor activities too. They are always entertained!
